Having never done a bathroom remodel before, it was so helpful that this piece was offered to complete the job in replacing my recessed soap dish in the shower. Who knows what I would have done without it!

I highly recommend this clamp. It's stronger than the Gatco, and is probably easier to install. I ordered three of these to replace all the holders in my house. The holders I ordered (and also highly recommend!) are the Franklin Brass 9097SN Toilet Paper Holder with Beveled Edges, Recessed, Satin Nickel. They are of high quality and are easy to install with the Futura clamps.

A couple tips:
1) When uninstalling the original in-wall holder, try not to unscrew it all the way. If you do, everything will drop into your wall. If you go most of the way, you should be able to wiggle all the hardware out.
2) Start the two screws into the clamp before attempting to install the new one. Then ease the clamp into the hole and align the holder. Finally, screw it all the way in.


3.) Clamp, yes! Screws, no!

The clamp worked well for the recessed toilet paper holder I also ordered. However, the screws that came with the clamp did not work: the threads were farther apart than those on the clamp--we had to use some from the previous clamp with a different finish.
